WHY DO YOU RACE? WHAT STARTED YOUR LOVE FOR ENDURANCE SPORTS?
I race because I enjoy the starting, line-up chaos and strangers cheering you on the entire race. I like to beat my own times and set my own goals and not have to follow someone else's goal to acheive. I like endurance sports because they force you to do workouts that you might not want to do on your own. They are beneficial to my health and I become faster and stronger!
WHAT MOTIVATED YOU TO TRAIN AT KINGFIELD ENDURANCE?
I was motivated to start training at Kingfield Endurance because my coworker, Shawna, kept talking about it to me and said I would really enjoy it. I gave it a try and found that there are a great group of people that train there and the trainers are very knowledgeable and help you improve technique and form. I am happy I joined.
WHAT KEEPS YOU COMING BACK TO KINGFIELD ENDURANCE?
I keep coming back because it gets my out of bed super early in the morning and I can accomplish way more than most people might get done in their day, and my workout is done by 7am! I also enjoy the frequency of the classes offered.
HOW HAS THE CROSSFIT TRAINING IMPACTED YOUR ENDURANCE SPORTS PERFORMANCE? I have become a faster runner and feel that I can perform the movements/exercises better with the instructors paying close attention to the movements.
DO YOU HAVE A MOTTO? Just one more. Ok I'm halfway.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE WORKOUT OR MOVEMENT?
I like doing heavy back squat. I think everyone who I work out with knows my least favorite workout.... rowing. I'm slowly trying to overcome this hate for rowing, its a work in progress.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE FOOD? I could eat pizza for every meal, with lots of ranch and parmesan.
